Zack grew up in Middleton Massachusetts and graduated from Masconomet Regional High School in 2004. He played baseball all four years for coach Peter Delani and was a part of multiple teams that made deep tournament runs in the D2 Tournament. He was a team captain his senior season and was a two time first team all league catcher. Zack also helped lead Masconomet football to its first ever super bowl appearance in 2003. He played in multiple all star games in both baseball and football and was awarded the B’nai B’rith citizenship award for his excellence on and off the field. After high school, Zack went on to play for perennial powerhouse Eastern Connecticut State University. He participated in the college World Series in 2007.
Zack is currently entering his 3rd year as the head baseball coach at Ipswich high school and his 4th year as an assistant football coach. He lives in Ipswich with his wife and two year old son, with another boy expected in December.
